Common questions

Which SPM subjects can I get tuition for?

Apex Panel Tutors teach Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Science, Bahasa Melayu, English, Sejarah, Geography, Accounting, Business, Ekonomi for SPM (Form 4 and Form 5). Lower secondary students (Form 1–3, KSSM) can book BM, Mathematics, Science and English.

Are the classes 1-to-1 or group classes?

Every Apex class is 1-to-1: one student, one Panel Tutor, 60 minutes, held online on Google Meet. Classes can start on the hour or half hour between 9am and 9pm Malaysia time.

How much does SPM tuition cost?

Each Panel Tutor sets an hourly rate in RM for each subject, and Apex approves every rate before it is listed. You see the price before you book, and there are no hidden fees on top.

What happens if the tutor doesn't accept my request?

When you request a class the amount is only held in your wallet, not spent. If the tutor declines or doesn't reply in time, the hold is released back to your balance.

Can I cancel or reschedule a class?

Yes. Cancelling 24 hours or more before the class gives a full refund, 6–24 hours gives 50%, and under 6 hours is not refunded. If the tutor cancels or doesn't show up you get a full refund. Either side can propose a new time and nothing moves until the other side accepts.

Can parents see how their child is doing?

Yes. A parent links to their child with a family code and can then follow upcoming classes, the tutor's remark after each class, marked homework and the wallet. Parents can also message the tutor directly.
